Summer Fun

I barely use this blog anymore as I'm spending soo much time on my website.

This summer I went on a 4 week exped in Arctic Norway. As i've been unable to find any decent work i've spent the last two months living on the end of my savings and getting a measly amount of money through work.

However, I've been to the Lakes for a combined total of over 6 weeks in the Lakes and Wales this year. It costs me £10 return to get out on the train to N.Wales and about £30 fuel to the Lakes..

Add lots of climbing/kayaking/walking and ooober cheap food and I've had a pretty ace summer (living in huts and sleeping on friends floors or wildcamping) :)

About to finish my PGCE, only annoyance is I have never been able to claim dole cuz I'm always between education. 5 months without a proper income and not being able to claim dole; I think this summer has taught me how to live on the cheap!
